Friends and Family Test August 2017
Very caring and understanding, takes time to listen and offers relevant advice
Afternoon surgery had just started and already running 20 minutes late. I don't think I have ever gone in to an appointment on time. However doctor was fantastic and I was taken seriously and good suggestions for dealing with an unclear issue were made.
The Practice Nurse, Fiona, was professional, efficient and friendly.
Punctual, knew why I was there. Smile.
Given an appointment immediately, doctor was friendly, reassuring and made me understand what was wrong quickly .
Because they saw me on the day and treated me instantly and effectively and the doctors are always really good.
Always an enjoyable experience despite the ailments
Efficient and helpful service as usual
The reason for my statement is that the Manor Street Surgery has always been helpful. The staff are polite and are willing to listen.
Excellent doctor, clear advice, very comfortable going to the surgery
Excellent service immediate appointment nice doctor
Dr Manton was very patient with me, very understanding and worked quickly to provide what I needed within a single appointment.
Excellent customer service
Appointments run to time and nurses/doctors very friendly.
The quick and helpful response from the reception staff, which meant I had an appointment within an hour and was seen on time and given a careful and through check with all the information I required prior to receiving a prescription. All staff were helpful and friendly.
Doctor very punctual / very pleasant and extremely efficient in my dealings, also reception were helpful
The doctor I saw was quite dismissive of my problems and fobbed me off without offer of further investigation. She had no idea of my history and didn't bother to look at it, she didn't look at me while speaking to me, she made me feel uncomfortable when I was already quite anxious and like I was wasting her time. I left the surgery in tears.
I have always been given good advice
Frustrated that the gp couldn't prescribe champix and the receptionist then told me that the healthcare assistant (who is lovely) and who can prescribe it is fully booked for next few weeks. I feel that if someone wants to quit smoking that that motivation is quite time specific and feels strange that the gp can't prescribe. Especially as I'd taken it previously but hadn't taken it for long enough to be successful. It felt like the needs of the patient weren't put ahead of management process of the surgery. I've never had cause for complaint previously.
Prompt and focused
The doctors and nurses I've dealt with are both extremely caring and helpful
Efficient, friendly and addressed additional concerns
Helpful, friendly and caring
Kathy is a brilliant nurse and very gentle with the babies
