Nurse Practitioners

Kate Buckley

Kate qualified as a Registered Nurse at Kingston-upon-Thames in 1987. She has worked as a practice nurse since 1996 and at Manor Street Surgery for the last 8 years. In 2012 after studying at South Bank University she qualified as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner and works as our Clinical Practitioner. Her main interests are diabetes and family planning.

Kate is a keen tennis player and also enjoys running.

Kate is usually available in the Surgery on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday


Helen Wood

Helen completed her training at the University of Bedfordshire in 2013 and joined Manor Street Surgery in November 2016.  She has a particular interest in wound management and asthma.  She is married with 2 children and enjoys walks with the family and entertaining.


Helen is usually in the surgery Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.

Kathy O'Dair

Kathy O'DairKathy trained at Oxford and qualified as an RGN in 1985, subsequently completing her Paediatric nurse training at Nottingham in 1989. She has worked in the Surgery since April 2003 where, in addition to her practice nurse duties, she is reponsible for anticoagulation. Kathy is married and enjoys painting, walking and her annual ski holiday.   

Kathy is usually in the Surgery Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday


Healthcare Assistants

Our Healthcare Assistants provide care to our patients for the following: blood pressure checks and monitoring, urinalysis health screening, ECG's, phlebotomy, sutures/clips removal, minor dressings, health checks,B12 injections, flu and pneumoccocal vaccinations and smoking cessation clinics.

Fiona Lewis

Fiona started her nursing training at Guys Hospital in 1981 and completed 2 years. She joined the Surgery as a member of the Admin Team in 2003 and became a Healthcare Assistant in 2006. She has a particular interest in helath promotion and smoking cessation. Fiona likes to travel and enjoys cooking and entertaining.


Fiona is usually in the Surgery on Monday, Tuesday and Friday

Miss Suzanne Saunders

Suzanne joined the Surgery at the start of July 2014. She enjoys phlebotomy and has a personal interest in genetic disorders. Suzanne likes travelling, cooking, reading and dancing.

Suzanne is usually in the Surgery Tuesday to Friday.
